WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary:$66,500- $105,500, plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Efficiently manage the closing checklist and ensure commitment requirements are satisfied prior to loan closing and funding.
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal and external business partners on loan closing activities.
  • Review, analyze, interpret, and utilize third-party reports for insuring consistent, accurate information and to make sound business decisions.
  • Review and approve closing settlement statements, escrow instructions, and other documentation as needed/required.
  • Successfully close loan transactions in a timely manner meeting closing dates and ensuring an efficient closing experience for sponsor clients.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Experience in closing commercial real estate transactions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment and manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to proactively manage the closing process and activities.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, within a team or across internal and external business areas.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and consultative skills to coordinate and communicate on loan closing activities with internal and external business partners.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Ability to work at our home office located in Omaha, Nebraska, in a hybrid environment. Expected to complete post-closing work at office (once per month) and attend quarterly in-office weeks. 

PREFERRED:

  • Previous experience as a commercial real estate paralegal.
  • Working knowledge of title, survey, leases/estoppels, organizational and loan documents.
  • Working knowledge of third-party report review (zoning, appraisal, property condition, seismic, and Phase I reports).
