As a Sr. Business intelligence Developer contributing to our Income & Wealth Planning (IWP) Data and Analytics area. You will interact with business partners, providing information analytics, developing and continuously improving reports presented to senior leadership.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary: $74,000 - $100,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Serve as the insights partner for our stakeholders. Your role will involve analyzing and designing reporting solutions by translating business requirements into user-friendly formats. You will leverage data from multiple sources to produce relevant business information and support customer inquiries with comprehensive data analysis.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain tailored business solutions for various projects. This includes designing system structures to ensure data relevance and adhering to established data quality standards, controls, and procedures, while also contributing to documentation efforts.
  • Assist Information Systems (I/S) teams with the testing and implementation of new business tools, codes, and patches. Your role includes supporting business customers through system conversions and actively identifying and resolving data quality issues with strategic solutions.
  • Continuously enhance your knowledge of assigned business areas, aiding business partners in understanding and independently accessing reporting tools. This responsibility also involves ensuring the accuracy and timely distribution of recurring process outputs.
  • Oversee the maintenance, documentation, and enhancement of processes and procedures. This includes identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize data quality and operational efficiency.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with a background in managing data and reporting tasks, including high proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and Jira, and at least 3 years of professional experience.
  • Broad knowledge across Insurance, Finance, Customer Services, Marketing, and Sales domains, along with an understanding of IT strategy and project and process management.
  • Hands-on experience with relational database administration, data consumption, and advanced data analysis, along with a capability for data validation and quality control.
  • Strong consultative, analytical, conflict resolution, and strategic planning skills, paired with a proven ability to deliver compelling presentations.

  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • Graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Working knowledge of the modern analytics stack and advanced proficiency with data analysis tools such as Tableau, Python, SSIS, Snowflake, R, dbt, AWS S3, AWS Glue, Airframe/Jenkins, CI/CD is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently research and analyze data to provide recommendations, showing operational creativity and a broad latitude for decision-making.
