Your day will involve developing and executing renewal strategies, creating tailored renewal packages, analyzing competitive rates, and positioning cases to meet and exceed renewal targets. You’ll serve as a key liaison, ensuring smooth communication between teams and proactively addressing challenges. 

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Compensation (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications)
    • Renewal Specialist: $28.25 - $28.85 plus annual bonus opportunity
    • Senior Renewal Specialist: $65,000 - $79,000 plus annual bonus opportunity
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Renewal Support: Act as a key partner to Renewal Executives and sales teams, offering hands-on renewal support to streamline processes and drive results. Collaborate closely with broker partners, building solid relationships to help meet renewal targets. Proactively position supplemental materials to enhance renewal actions and serve as a vital link between Renewal Executives, brokers, and home office teams. 
  • Renewals: Create tailored renewal letters and packages, run trial alternates for potential plan design adjustments, and prepare competitive rate comparisons. Work with Renewal Executives and brokers to negotiate rate adjustments and present compelling case positions, supported by claims data and essential documentation. 
  • Revisions: Manage renewal revisions, ensuring they are completed accurately and promptly within the standard timeframe. Provide additional system administration support to ensure smooth and efficient renewal operations. 
  • Add-on Quotes: Run quotes for add-on coverage lines, collaborating with Renewal Executives to position these options effectively at renewal. 
  • Quarterly Travel: Travel quarterly to the sales offices or headquarters to connect directly with Renewal Executives, sales staff, and broker partners for in-person collaboration and relationship building. 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Technology Skills: Skilled in Excel, with expertise in managing large spreadsheets efficiently. Comfortable navigating multiple systems with ease.
  • Relationship Building & Collaboration: Proven track record of fostering strong relationships and collaborating effectively with sales teams, brokers, and both internal and external partners. 
  • Effective Communication & Negotiation: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strengths in presenting, negotiating, and exercising sound judgment. 
  • Independent & Strategic Thinker: Demonstrates leadership qualities, with the ability to work autonomously, prioritize strategically, and make informed decisions without extensive oversight. 
  • Multi-Tasking & Prioritization: Skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen ability to prioritize tasks for maximum impact. 
  • Quarterly travel to assigned sale office or headquarters. Valid driver's license is required.

  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • 2+ years of extensive knowledge of Group Insurance products, design, administration, and marketing.
  • Thorough knowledge of company products, systems, and processes supporting Group Insurance.
  • Knowledge of competitors' products and positioning.
